- Raw Tamarind - 2 KG
- Turmeric Powder - 4 Tablespoons
- Salt - as required (approximately half KG)
- Garlic - 4 to 5 cloves
- Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Fenugreek seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili - 4 to 5
- Asafoetida / Hing - ¼ teaspoon
